Potty Training in the 1950s

25 years ago the average age for potty training a child was 18 months, now it appears that the average age is nearer three!  The later training is due to most mothers using disposable nappies nowadays and even having less time, as many mums do go back to work. My daughter was potty trained at two (sometimes I think it was easier with nappies, especially on long journeys).
