My daughter recently got a toy kitchen as a birthday present. I researched all the wooden kitchens on the market to find the best one. Here’s a list of the top ones.

They all say for 3 and over, but she is 2 and loves her kitchen.

Pintoy – Wooden Red Kitchen – £86.93 (usually £99.99)

A fantastic all in one kitchen made from top quality rubber wood. It has everything you need for a pretend play kitchen. The design incorporates a hob, oven and sink, space for hanging kitchen utencils. Looks great in any home (this is the one we picked because it was stylish and good value).

GLTC – Canterbury Kitchen – Was £120.00, Now £115

Canterbury Kitchen

This stylish kitchen has a realistic looking Belfast sink, a wooden worktop, a silver painted oven door and splashback, and open shelving to store all those matching pots and pans. Features turning oven knobs, tap and sink, oven has shelves and a see through door. Perfect for an urban town house. Made from MDF.

John Lewis – Wooden Kitchen - £109.95

This deluxe wooden kitchen is the perfect size for little ones to really enjoy. It has everything and looks great too.

Early Learning Centre – Country Kitchen £130

The most expensive one on the list. Great for imaginative and social play, children will love cooking up magical play meals, farmhouse cakes and tasty treats on this beautiful kitchen. Two ring hob with clicking dials, a sink with drainer, oven with shelf and storage. Not my cup of tea, but would look good in a country retreat!

Vertbaudet – Kitchen – Now £48.30 Was £69.00

Equipped with a hob, sink and oven. Small shelf with curtain. Silk-screen prints and small, raised buttons. Transparent plastic oven door. A good, cheaper alternative.
