I overheard my 2 year old and her grandmother playing I spy this morning. Here’s how the conversation went.
2 year old: “I spy with my little eye, something beginning with ‘E’”
Grandmother: ” You have to be able to see it now, is it in the room?”
2 year old: “Yes”
Grandmother: “I give up”
2 year old: “‘E’ for Elephant”
Grandmother: “There’s no elephant in the room”
2 year old: “Well, we can magic one up then”
I just love the way their brains work!
