I bought The Baby Zoo Sleeptrainer Clock because my 2 year old keeps waking at 6.30 and running into our room. I wanted to encourage her to stay in her bedroom longer, so I researched the net and came up with this. Read on to find out why I was very disappointed.
What they say:
- Waking up with cool jungle sounds or wake up when monkey Momo’s eyes are open
- Analogue & Digital time
- Temporary nightlight
- Volume setting
- Glow in the dark pointers
What we say:
- Cute looking, fun, helps teach children the time.
But
- It’s really not much more than an expensive alarm clock.
- It would be better if there was an option to keep the nightlight stayed on (it goes off after a very short time).
- There is no button to turn the alarm off (unless you take off the back)
- My daughter wouldn’t have it in her room as she was scared of the eyes opening!
The Verdict: A waste of money (I sent it back)
I have now bought the Gro Sleep Clock (waiting for delivery), hopefully it will be better.

I have bunny ears and find it hit and miss when it comes to keeping my children in bed. Usually they just turn off the alarm when they wake.
I bought this clock too (the BabyZoo one) and the ticking is so loud I can hear it through the wall from my bedroom!
