New Year’s Eve is often a big let down, I always have high expectations that are never quite met. After one of the best New Year’s Eve’s I’ve ever had last year, for the second year in a row we decided to go to the New Year’s Eve event at Kinki, Collyer Quay. The view across the bay overlooking Marina Bay Sands was awesome. I snapped away and here are some of the shots, featuring the cutest Christmas tree you’ll ever see, evidence of people partying too hard and the end to one party-goer’s celebrations. (As they were taken on my phone, the quality is not amazing.)
- MBS NYE 2012
- Kites lighting up the sky
- Ponchos – the must have fashion accessory for NYE 2012
- The party in full swing
- Singapore NYE 2012 Fireworks
- Singapore NYE 2012 Fireworks
- Rather smoky NYE fireworks
- An abrupt end to one party-goers celebrations
- The cutest Christmas tree (Fullerton Hotel)
- Scenes from the long walk home
I wonder what we’ll end up doing next year. I’ve done London, Sydney and Singapore before, but I’ve always fancied the Big Apple. We might try out NYC Apartment Rentals.

I wish I could have gone to the quays to watch the fireworks in Singapore, but this pregnant gal is on bed rest. So, it’s definitely a treat to see your photos!
Happy New Year!
Kristina
Oh no that’s depressing. Not quite the same looking at photos. There’s always next year.
